Cases lists every report your role may see, newest first. Each row shows the case reference, status, severity, classification, and assignees.
The case list

Where cases come from

When a whistleblower submits through your organisation’s reporting site, Secure Report picks the submission up and creates a case automatically:
  • The case gets a permanent reference like SR-2026-0001.
  • Severity is set from the intake scoring.
  • If your intake questionnaire includes a classification question, the case is classified automatically from the reporter’s answer; otherwise it arrives as unclassified for your team to triage.
Use the sync control on the case list to pull in the latest submissions on demand.

What you’ll see (and what you won’t)

The list shows case metadata only. The report content itself is read live from the secure intake system when you open a case — see Reporter privacy.
If your role is restricted to certain classifications, cases outside those categories don’t appear at all — not even their reference. A viewer sees the same list read-only.
